Discussion: Two courses of one bricks each (almost the same dimension as the feature) and two smaller pieces of bricks in top of the last course, on the southern and eastern sides.
Very high quality bricks used in order to build the bench F1488 within the cut u22292 into wall F2014.
The bricks are very different from all the other used in the surrounding walls.
Associated with mortar u22291. 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: yellow / brown 

Texture: very sandy clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: a lot of organic material, fragments of very compact red clay 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: sharp and constructional with mortar u22291
