Discussion: Unit is thick plaster mortar assoicated with the brick core of bench F. 7415. It seems interesting that plaster would be chosen as the mortar material, although it is keeping in with the traddition of this symbolic, clean portion of the building and repeated use of plaster as material. The plaster mortar lines are obvious from the plan view of the bench, althought especially on the s-facing side they seem to have eroded slightly.

Colour: Light grey, brownish 

Texture: silty-clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: crack, burning 

Basal Boundary: constructional, clear, distinct contrast
