Discussion: This is a layer of plaster applied to the top of an addition to the eastern half of platform F. 7951, to the south of hearth F. 7957 and to the west of the oven F. 7953, lipping up to its edge. It was sampled as part of the phytolith grid laid by Marco Madella and Carla Lancelotti, with three samples taken, but was not excavated due to time restrictions in 2015. It may be excavated very early in 2016. 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: orange, black, white (burnt/scorched) 

Texture: plaster 

Bedding: layered
