Discussion: This is a small, cylindrical cut made into the western half of NW platform F. 7950. It is in the center of a depression in u. 22639, the plaster on the top of the platform, intimating an earlier cut larger than this one. Because the fill of this cut was empty, it may be that this cut was a retrieval pit made to recover something from the earlier burial. It may, alternatively, just be a pit in the platform without a clear function.
