Discussion: U 22750 was opened to determine whether the arch of the cut plaster could be traced to establish whether it could be seen that the cutting of the pit was the reason the plaster remaining was as is. It was subsequently seen post excavation that this was highly probable as the pit was truncated into the wall.

Colour: patchy, orange and grey 

Texture: brick, ash and loose fill
