Discussion: All surviving wall plasters on the N wall of B131 (F.7707), all of which were in Sp. 500. To E of post/pillar/scar-in-the-wall (currently no unit/feature number assigned) a solid red panel extended to the far E end of the wall (probably continuous w/ red paint in Sp.556). To the top, 3 superimposed red layers were easily traced; at the bottom near the floor only one panel was noted. Thus it is possible that one red painting event was more extensive than others. To the W of post/pillar : long expanse of white/scorched-to-grey plaster on top of tan/scorched-to-grey basal makeup with chaff/vegetal inclusions.
