Unit 23603
Category: Cut dug in 2017
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: cut of a shallow depression
Data Category Information: Description: pit
Discussion: The cut (U.23603) appeared to be a round and very shallow incise placed in the vast levelling deposit (U.32761) that covered whole interior of the Sp.531 before laying down the floors and dwelling. It seems that function of the cut was related with placing a vessel within the performed incise providing its vertical position . Above mentioned assumption is supported by the shape (in plan and section) as well as small depth of describing pit (F.8342). As such the cut 23603 might constitute a negative of an individual vessel-object.
