Discussion: The outline of the cut U.23615 had been recognized below layer of the earliest floors 32090 within W, NW – part of Sp. within the packing/leveling deposit 32761. Considering its state of preservation one can state that originally the cut was circular in plan, however, later digging activities (Cut 32732) disturbed its Southern part, leaving only the Northern one. In the course of the excavation it turned out that the cut U.23615 represented the burial cut with distinct bell shaped undercut edges. Alternatively the mentioned above truncation of the original size made by the cut (32732 appeared to be retrieval pit / F.8324 that was performed to regain the human remains from primary burial F.8348.
