Discussion: Noteworthy is that the stratigrafical context of the pit that was executed within the packing deposit 32761 implies the feature might be considered as foundation burial.
The badly preserved human remains U.23617 were found in flex position within Eastern part of the oval burial cut 23611. The individual was positioned on its right side with the head oriented towards the South (facing down and Eastwards). Interesting remains also that the individual was placed against the Eastern edge of the pit leaving whole of the rest space empty. The inhumation must be regarded as the primary burial of an young adult individual (judging by the teeth) that was buried within the packing deposit U.32761 just before laying down the earliest layers of floor in Sp. 531. The latter circumstance implies that the performing the burial might have an especial meaning in term of preceding the occupation within the room. For that reason it may be considered also as the foundation burial. Worth noticing is that the skeleton was not super-flexed, if one can take into account the fact that the lower limbs were not attached to the upper part of the skeletal corpus and they were extended in the angle of 45 degree, so the lower legs laid against the northern edge of the burial cut. Alternatively the forearms were positioned close to the chest against the Eastern edge of the cut.
