Discussion: U.23633 is the cut of post retrieval pit F.8601. Cut was sloping from north to south and was stepped on the north. Post (half timber) was placed on the south so that the northern part was stepped. Considering the half post hole and the dimensions of the cut, it seems like the post was not a big one as F.8349 post hole indicates (contemporary with) Size of the bottom part of the post hole within the cut was 25 cm x 16 cm.
