Unit 31116
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: Trench 5
Interpretive Categories: plaster
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: Plaster of the F.3346 (wall) and the eastern part of the buttress (F.5062). It was built above the mudbrick (U.31108) and mortar (U.31109) layers.
It was difficult to distinguish it from the mortar layer.
This plaster is well conserved on the middle part of the wall and the buttress, it is eroded before and after. The plaster stops at one point of the wall and seemed to be stuck with a mortar layer in some places, but there is in other places a thin layer of mud brick between the mortar and plaster. The plaster is sloping towards the east with a curved angle, which is maybe a sign of a floor which would have collapsed elsewhere.
