Discussion: The preliminary, on-field examination of the skeleton-32045 that was found within the Burial F.7739 (Infill-32040, cut-32039) indicated that the human remains belonged to 10 (+-2) years old juvenile.
The human remains were revealed within Southern part of the pit in flex position. The skeleton was of E-W alignment with the head towards the West. Which is also direction of the centre of the room (Sp.531). The white residue all over the bones allows to presume that the body was wrapped tidily in the (organic ?) material before inhumation, which resulted in clear “wall effect” of the body, and its position which was restricted only to the small area within the previously executed cut. The bones did not reflect a missing parts. However, their general bad state of preservation is more than intriguing. Most of the bones were crushed or remained as smashed, powder remains. Cranium was crushed and flattened, but fragmentarily preserved patch of a white residue associated closely with the skull might have been different in nature than one evidenced all over the body. It may be rather more mineral than organic residue which reminds plaster-like composition. Additionally on the mentioned plaster (?) there was also red pigment evidenced.
