Discussion: - The hard baked base U.32746 of the hearth F.8327 had been recorded to the NE of the Oven F.7732. The phase of use of the base might be related stratygraphically with the oven and in particularly with the use of the oven-base 32754, as well as with accumulation of the dirty floors U.32707. An on-site investigation implied a notion that the hearth was not used intensively. 

Consistency: friable (but Baked) 

Colour: light-orange creme 

Texture: clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: imprints of organic temper (chaft) 

Post-depositional Features: truncation of the later scoop : F.8328 

Basal Boundary: distinct
