Discussion: Unit # 32798 refers to the affected by the high temperature remnants of the construction/rim of the hearth F.8340. All of the collected data allow assuming that there was only one phase of use of the fire-installation. However, traces of heavy burning imply that the spot had been employed for some time during the activities undertaken prior the inhabiting the Sp.531. The desire of keeping open fire within the South-Central part of the mentioned area was preceded by the execution of an oval cut (U.32799) whose edges were coated by the silty-clay paste and as such the spot had been used for the heating/cooking purposes. The execution of the cut truncated the leveling deposit U.32761 which was dumped deliberately in order to remodel the living-space by raising the surface of the floor and rearrange the room within the new (reduced) extent. As such using of the fire-installation most plausibly took part during the preparation of the room to be dwelled
