Unit 3593
Category: layer dug in 1999
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: floor
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: As I began removing floor layer I found that it popped off quite easily from the lower "fill" or packing layer. I found a layer of gypsum directly below the floor & above the packing mostly comcentrated in the area nearest to the platform - as I moved past the platform edge sauthward the gypsum became less and finally stoped with only a packing layer beneth the floor. This packing layer is very dark and distinctly different from the floor layer which was 7cm thick.
