Definition: to the west, bonds with wall 400, to the east, bonds with wall 401 and then eastwards and then eroded, to the south space 159, to the north infill 4465.

Consistency: brick - firm, mortar firm 

Colour: brick is mid to light brown and the mortar is light to mid grey 

Texture: brick is sandy clay silt and the mortar is silty clay 

Bedding: both massive 

Inclusions: few inclusions less than 2% charcoal flecks in the brick

Basal Boundary: prominent and distinct constructional smooth and flat
