Dimensions: 32cm by 40cm by 6cm 

Discussion: Diameter of the lid is 33cm and approximately 36 concentric rings composed this lid which are growing. It is not very thick, possibly 1 - 3mm. It has fallen into the basket possibly due to the weight of the soil which was covering the burial. It was orientated NW-S. The SE end was in the basket and the NW end still attached to the rim of the basket. 

Recognition: By colour 

Definition: Clear definition and pattern of circles 

Execution: Leaf trowel and dentist (fine tools) 

Condition: Good preservation 

Consistency: Soft to friable soil and basket remains compacted on the skeleton 

Colour: White to whitish cream 

Texture: Silty clayey soil and silicified plant remains 

Bedding: yes 

Inclusions: Plant remains entirely (reeds?) 

Post-depositional Features: Human skeleton 

Basal Boundary: Anthropomorphic, sharp and clear
