Discussion: Some form of in-situ burning event, most intense at east end gradually petering out to west. Possibly deliberate burning of material in external area. Appears to mark quite a distinct transition between material above and below, could be linked to burial F.525.

Unit description: Flot 2857 - competely analyzed A burnt layer in space 181 dividing the 'stabling' deposits from the underlying midden layers. The colour is a uniform light brown with a small amount of burnt material. There is very little material in this unit but it is similar to the fill material from inside houses - maybe domestic dump? Last Number = F.6
