Discussion: similar to overlying 5498 and g on a tip --- from ---east of wall 1087 --- to wall 1088 to west. It appears to be a dump of waste used to level up the surface prior to the construction of wall 1087, but later than wall 1088. Coming down to more soft ashy lensed midden 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: mid dark yellow grey brown 

Texture: silty clay (50, 40) 

Bedding: compound layered 

Inclusions: mod charcoal ---, mod freq coprolite- food?, mod chalk flecks and small frag, bone, etc 

Post-depositional Features:  

Basal Boundary: clear, dumping
