Discussion: the three walls: 835, 836, 838 all the same material, both bricks and mortar, bricks vry in thickness.

Lots of salts in mortar beneath a course of bricks I ve taken out. Beneath the brick to the north, beneath it is mortar-the next brick down (if it is brick) is of blackish, compact, a bit greasy soil-the rest the brick to the south, usual sandy grey brick.
