This unit comprises the fill from the cut that is located in NS direction in the front on the screen wall. The unit is on the central house floor between platform F 162 and the very centre of the house.
X1 is the bottom part of a small figurine found in the middle of the ashy deposits and fragments of very burnt soil. This whole fill is being sent fot flotation as s1.

NOT TRUE because it extends larger than we thought, it is being sent in more than one sample flotation. Many large ( up to 3x5 cm) well preserved charcoal bits areincluded in this ash deposit. Some of the nicest - S4, S8 have been collected for dendro.

Ashy deposit continues possibly underneath screen wall (?) but all work possible has been done on this area for now so this unit will be closed and when work continues later on screen wall a new unit ( same as) will be opened again for ash.
