Discussion: Unit recognized as a layer of more white compact and silty clay with flecks of burnt clay. It was surrounded by a loose layer of unit 7013. Its boundaries were clear, sharp but not regular. After removing a few centimeters, two parts were identified:
1) unit 7151-similar to 7012
2) unit 7152 - orange burnt clay 

 

Recognition: more compact than around 

Definition: layer of a white compact silty clay, clear boundaries 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry, hot 

Consistency: strong, compact 

Colour: white, light beige, pink, orange flecks 

Texture: silty clay, slightly burnt 

Bedding:  

Inclusions: bones, pottery 

Post-depositional Features:  

Basal Boundary: arbitrary
