Discussion: Unit distinguished from the unit 7149 during excavation- it occurred that the NW part was much darker, with ash and charcoal. The shape, dimensions, orientation allow to assume, that this unit represents the remains of a wooden wall or screen dividing the building. It would have been the part of 1 wall with unit 7150. 

 

Recognition: darker than 7149 

Definition: clear boundary 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: hot, dry 

Consistency: soft/friable 

Colour: dark brown 

Texture: ashy loam with tiny lenses of pure ash 

Bedding: layered: lenses of pure ash 

Inclusions: flecks of charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: N/A 

Basal Boundary: sharp, anthropic boundary
