Unit 7149
Category: layer dug in 2002
Area: TP
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: pise-like
Dimensions: 2.80 x 0.42 x 0,35
Discussion: Lower part of a wall 7046, which was divided after cleaning into 2 units: 7150- a burnt clay wall in the N part and a silty layer in the S part (7149). It was supposed that the unit 7149 was not a wall as its upper parts consisted only of soil. Below some pieces of lighter mud bricks appeared, without any mortar or plaster traces. Any complete brick could be traced and sometimes the boundary between soil and brick could not be seen so it is difficult to say that 7149 was a regular, ordinary wall.
