Discussion: Capping of tomb F726, consisting of two large, flat limestone blocks, packed with clay to form a seal to the top of the tomb. Wedges of broken tile had also been added at the eastern and western ends to level and stabilise the limestone blocks on the base of tiles (7220) below. Also loose soil around and between stones. The western block was a pale orange mudstone (B. Jackson pers comm.), the eastern one was pale grey limestone. The clay packing also included pieces of broken tile, limestone fragments and a grinding stone.

Basal Boundary: Clear, flat, smooth anthropic boundary to underlying tomb tiles
