Discussion: This layer of hard, dried, cracked mud occuring in N and E of Tomn F726 overlying floor of tomb. Only 0.02m thick but made of many micro laminated layers. Each layer represents a phase of inwash and suggests that after completion the tomb was left open for some time, during which a number of phases of natural in-wash occurred (flooding perhaps). Following this the mud dried and became cracked by the heat of the sun.
