This is a third layer of a large pit that is placed in SW corner of the trench. Its basal boundary has been defined arbitrarily by the level of another - smaller pit (7835, 7836) dug into the large pit (units 7862 and 7863). The smaller pit (at this level these are units 7835 and 7836 (cut)) is also excavated level by level. The lowest of unit 7835 has been defined because a shape of another, darker pit had been noticed at its base,
Unit 7862 is divided into two parts by this smaller pit (7835). These parts are described as 1 and 2. Part 1 is surrounded from N and E by a wall and part 2 from W.
