Unit 7959
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: bin fill
Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: bin; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: Tracking: Full-On.
This is a layer of fill with a horn core in the south-west corner. The bin of feature 1952 is cut down to only cm on the east side of this unit and this unit is following the eastern side of the bin that has been truncated, in order to clarify the edges of the bin. The bottom of the bin is plastered. However, since there is no scar on th souther wall from the missing eastern wall of the bin, it is also possible that there never was a eatern wall, and that this unit was a plastered platform next to a plastered bin.
Thickness of unit estimated in PX (DE 18/07/09).
