Discussion: This is a greyish white plaster layer forming part of feature 1305. It abutts bench 1304 to the south. It became apparent that through excavation the deposit "grew". The plan has been modified and an extra flotation sample taken (S3). 

 

Definition: Sharp contrast to other deposýts clear colour 

Execution: Trowelled 

Condition: Wýndy and hot 

Consistency: Firm 

Colour: Greyish white 

Texture: Clayey silt 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Charcoal <1cm <1% 

Post-depositional Features: Animal burrows, deposit extensively eroded 

Basal Boundary: Cleal, Sharp
