Discussion: Unit 8223 consists of red burnt clay and yellowish plaster with ashy stripes within, the whole surface at this level shows traces of burning and exposure to high temperatures. We separated this part of the floor, which spreads all over th bath-tub-like cut F. 775 in the platform extension F.169. From other two related units 8214 and 8227 because the soil here had different color, and when we removed this layer, a new fire installation (F.776) was revealed.
