Unit 8285

Category: layer    dug in 2001

Area: North

Interpretive Categories: plaster floor

Data Category Information: none

Dimensions: 95cm X 89 cm

Discussion: This unit involved the removal of the white plaster floor below unit 8218. Removal of this revealed that the lip of F.771, U8254 may overlay the floor that was removed. Also removal of the floor revealed an earlier damaged floor that does not extend across the whole unit. Removal of this floor revealed a packing layer that was similar to that found in unit 8251.
