Unit 8292
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: fill of F. 770
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: Emptying fill of F. 770- former unit 8142. We are taking it to the wall (F. 772) and the sandy brick-like things we found in unit 8277. This unit is the same as Hades. What is going on in F. 770 is still very unclear. It is bordered to the S by a layer of bricks that separate it from the floor that was the basal boundary of 8277. The floor of F. 770 appears to be below the basal boundary of 8277. The bricks will have to be removed to prove that, however.
In addition to F. 770 Oguz noted that there is another feature to the west that runs to the wall. Whoo-hoo for Oguz! This will be explored later. It is a possiblity that these are both storage bins that are separated by depth and a little baulk.
