Unit 8146
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: fire installation floor, room fill
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: This unit comprises material from the bas of F. 604 (fire installation/pit) and it is mostly burnt building material (floors and rims of earlier dismantled fire installations, burnt soil, c.c. plaster) mixed w/ packing material. It all sits on what seems to be a dirty floor. The most northern part of underlying (?) floor unit steeps up against what seems to be a rim of an earlier fire installation underneath F. 752 and 630 (see unit 8153).
Important to notice is that material similar to this was found in a pit in the N. part of sp. 158 (unit 8142) which they called and "oven disposal pit"
