Discussion: This unit comprises part of wall (F. 1023) and fill to the E of it (all these to the E of build. 3). It was opened in order to find out what lies to the E of the E wall of build. 3 and the opening in it.
After removing a layer ca. 5-20 cm thick, we found out that there is a wall, which consisted of 2 parts - it was made of bricks ca. 30 cm wide. There are two narrow spaces between the E wall and wall F. 1023 that were filled in with crumbly clay. The mortar between the E wall and wall F. 1023 is brown-orange in colour. E from wall F. 1023 there are premises - we scraped some of their fill loose and beige in colour (see the plan). It seems that the opening connected build. 3 and another house or courtyard (?) during the earliest phase/s of build. 3.
The soil that was sent to the dry sieve yielded few fragmented bones, two fragmented fugurines, a small fragment of clay ball and obsidian.
