Discussion: 8773 was a shallow construction cut to facilitate the laying of a 'mud plaster' floor surface (8759). The cut edge only existed at the southern limit of (8759), which lipped up against it. The cut,ans southern boundary of (8759) reprsent a partition within the western half of building 40, defined as space 217 to the north and space 225 to the south
