Description: FT 

 

Discussion: Uppermost brick layer. There was another one above it (at least) since it was covered by a layer of ''mortar''. Bonding material for the next coarse of bricks 

 

Recognition: gray bricks (surface or walls) with reddish-brown bonding material 

Definition: square gray bricks (truncated by late activities) 

Execution: mattock and trowel 

Condition: windy; hot; dry 

Consistency: hard 

Colour: gray clay and brown red bonding material 

Texture: mudbrick and clay 

Bedding: compound layered; parallel; bricks: 0.75m x 0.42m; mortar: 0.75m x 0.05m x 0.07m 

Inclusions: small bits and pieces 

Post-depositional Features: animal activity 

Basal Boundary: flat maybe onto another layer of bonding material; another coarse of bricks under
