Description: Fast track 

 

Discussion: Next deposit within hearth sequence. Deposit much more powdery than (10429) above, and very distinguishable by its very orangey/light reddish brown colour. Fill contained 2 fragments, possibly bone. 

 

Recognition: Layer exposed after removal of room fill (10404), (10425), (10427) and (10429). 

Definition: Defined by colour 

Execution: Trowel leaf and brush 

Condition: Dry 

Consistency: Fairly loose and friable 

Colour: Light reddish brown 

Texture: Silt 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Bone 

Post-depositional Features: Mild animal disturbance 

Basal Boundary: Clear, very sharp
