Data Category Information: Location: in abandoned building; Deposition: coarsely bedded (dumps)

Dimensions: 1.80m NS 1.90m EW Depth 0.50m (max) 

Discussion: Layer, part of midden forming a roughly triangular area bounded by the cut to the west and a wall to the south. Eastern and northern boundaries were truncated by Mellaart's excavation. Area A (south-east area marked on sketch) was more compact and browner contained large pieces of mud brick. Dry Sieve Information: Unknown if any dry seive

Consistency: Moderately firm 

Colour: 2.5Y 3/1 very dark grey 

Texture: Silty clay sand 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: pottery, clay balls, bone (over 2%), charcoal, brick fragments, shell, obsidian

Basal Boundary: dumped, faint wavy
