Area: South
Interpretive Categories: room fill
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 0.75m x 0.20m x 0.70m (to 1.05)
Discussion: Removal of deposit(s) equivalent to 1052/1053/1063 against north section of space 106 (cutting back in the NW corner to confirm that the wall sat on the fill deposits. This slot reveals the brick courses of the wall sloping down from east to west sitting on hard bricky make up in turn overlying the fill deposits removed as 1052, 1053 and 1063. The upper make up lacks a clear basal boundary and may represent compression and drying out of the upper fill layers.
