Unit 10909
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: layer, rubble from fallen house
Data Category Information: In Situ: non in-situ; Location: external; Material: brick&mortar; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This is another layer in a sequence of deposists that are placed on top of the neolithic roof. Similarly as layer above (unit 8991), it is composed of a large number of fragmented depositional material such as broken mudbricks, mortar and plaster. The layer has in few intrances red painted surface. The construction material - possibly rubble from fallen house wall - is scuttered across the unit with exception of a section parallel the roof (unit 8966). It seems that elements of destroyed wall were dumped directly on the roof.
