Dimensions: 3m N-S, 1.54 EW to South, 1.20m EW to North 

Discussion: Midden layers over most of the trench - comprises fine lenses ca 1cm lenses of ashy and charcoal tip lines and ash and clayey tipped deposits, some mixed with frags of plaster- both reworked from wall/ floor and white fragments that appear to be the raw state of plaster. Although this layer comprises several lenses - excavated as one deposit. Tips both from the east-west and north to south and possibly the same as 1505 in space 106 and ashy lenses excavated in space 105 in 1995. 

Consistency: Firm 

Colour: 7.5 YR 6/1 grey -7.5YR 5/1 grey - 2 5/1 -4/1 blueish grey - dark bluish grey 

Texture: silty clay loam and ash 

Bedding: Layered 

Inclusions: 30% 1cm > charcoal flecks and frags, 20% 50mm> plaster frags 5% <2mm white flecking (poss. plaster) 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: fairly sharp or smooth sedimentological boundaries on tip lines
