Discussion: Upper deposit of ashy charcoal material beneath wall 96/57, separating spaces106 and 107 excavated to a comparable level to the stepping down bricks in this wall towards it's southern extent. No obvious difference to the material in the equivalent layer in space 107 (1099), or that in space 106 (1505).

Unit description: Tiny unit made up of one bag of D.S material. Made up of cattle and sheep size material. There were some large shaft fragments and rib fragments but no identifiables. The only recordable fragments was a broken dog canine. Surface condition is moderate. A tiny bit of burning was apparent though there were no signs of gnawing or digestion.
