Unit description: A small assemblage, with a few identifiables - some 003 size and one equid. Bone colour is mainly mid-brown; very little burnt; a few fresh breaks. Surfaces matte and filmy again. Sample 9, >4mm flot., 100% sorted, recorded completely. Medium-sized sample, mostly little scrappy bits, but a few larger, 4-5 cm pieces. Mostly sheep-sized, but with some large mammal-- quite a lot for a flotation unit. Variable weathering. Some burning, both high and low temperatures. Little or no digestion or gnawing. Some fish teeth, one piece of microfauna, a little bit of eggshell. Lots of long bone, some rib, some cranial. A little bit of vertebrae in the form of unfused central fragments.
