Unit description: Small-medium unit, with cattle distal humerus and small bit of horn core (rest left in wall). Otherwise mostly sheep-size, but less fragmented than most from house. Little burning, uniform light brown color, texture somewhat soft. Flotation sample, >4mm, 100%, recorded completely. Lots of tiny scrappy bits, a few slightly larger fragments, and a very few identifiable fragments; a phalangeal fragment, a metapodial condylar bit, and a tiny possible radial carpal. There was also a fish vertebra and a tiny microfaunal piece. A moderate amount of burning, both high and low temperature, and slight to moderate weathering. No gnawing or digestion. Last number = 60 2 frags of horn core X2 removed for C14 dating, 15/8/01. LM.
