Unit 11101
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: infill
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 2.20m EW X 1.40m NS
Discussion: This layer was excavated by Sheila and Medha. They took down much of the East side of the space because it seemed to be quite high and needed to be removed to understand the relationships with the ashy deposits to the west. The two deposits were excavated and scraped toether for better understanding beneath the fast track program. The next day (Friday July 16th) it rained and so work stopped in the area due to the muddy condition of the soil. The removal of the layer revealed plastered walls to the East, North and West; the Southern wall is dubious.
Depth and volume estimated in PX. Unclear how much of this unit (if any) was dry sieved (DE 2009)
