Discussion: we started excavating this unit as general fill around the room, first from the eastern side then working towards the west and south around the clay line/ division. To the west of the room the soil started peeling off on a surface that did not seem to be too smooth. To the SE corner, there were reasonable amounts of lithic micro debitage/flakes. The central area of the unit was compact and during excavation a layer of plastered surface which was not necessarily continuous was truncated. Excavation stopped in a level that semmed to be in the same phase.
