Area: South

Interpretive Categories: midden

Data Category Information: Location: external; Deposition: finely bedded

Discussion: Soil of the area was firm, however it became quite loose in the center. Midden was in layers: first it was chalky and then it became ashy. The southern area on this unit also sloped downward. Animal disturbance also caused some parts to be loose. Midden appears to be the result of human activity. Deposit is thicker towards the south.
