Discussion: Soil at the top of layer was firm, but became loose once top layer was removed. Midden was in layers, with much charcoal and natural salt throughout the layers. This unit also had a slope towards the south, as well as animal disturbance, which caused some of the soil to be loose. Midden appears to be a result of human activity. Deposit also varries in thickness.
