Unit 11462

Category: layer    dug in 2004

Area: South

Interpretive Categories: wall bricks

Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: brick; Deposition: homogeneous

Dimensions: up to .38 thick., but as thin as 0.08

Discussion: wall bricks looked different, were much softer - also been eroded a lot more than others. Seems they are certainly a separate course, but unclear to which building they belong - fit into wall F.102 perfectly, and with bricks bwleo (11224, 11464), so ended up all being one wall, maybe different bricks represent an extension or repair to an earlier wall??
