Discussion: mudbrick material under plaster on W. Edge of Platform F.1320. With unit partially excavated, feel that probaly mudbrick construction for platform seems to be 3 corses of mudbrick at the SW corner of the platform. Also mudbrick appears to continue at the S end of the platform to the east now Ive taken off 11469 so 1466 wont have been photographed in its entirity unfortunatly partially excavated 2004

Volume roughly estimated (KN 20.07.09) 

 

Recognition: recognised after removed plaster layer 11460, colour 

Definition: clear 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry hot 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: pale orangey brown 

Texture: slightly sandy silt 

Bedding: compound very patchy thin skim of plaster on surafce towarsd south end less than 1mm thick and pale brown mud brick material 

Inclusions: occasional phytolith, a bone piont X.1 occasioanl pot obsidain and stone fragments also obsidian/bone cluster 11472 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrows, compaction/wear
